I’m Steve, a photographer based in the UK.
My work is mostly black and white, focused on landscape and urban spaces. I’m drawn to quiet places, simple compositions, and scenes that reward a slower way of looking. Almost all of my work is made outdoors, often early in the morning when most of the world is still asleep.
I shoot both film and digital, although the technical process is always secondary to achieving the right mood for the final image. This approach carries through to printing, where I aim for images that feel personal and moving rather than ones that shout loudly.
